Message from PEPANZ

David Robinson

The true potential of New Zealand’s Petroleum sector is rapidly emerging, with players at home and abroad watching with interest as we explore what lies beneath. Our industry is building its capacity, introducing new technologies and upping the game with new and better practices being put into play as our activity increases in scale. The ground is constantly shifting; the Government has rewritten the rule book for the sector from Health and Safety, to the management of the Crown Minerals Estate.

Once a quiet industry, communities are wide awake to the potential our growth can bring to their regions, communities and families. But with change and growth comes new challenges. The 2013 Petroleum Summit brings together industry, government and communities to find new solutions to these challenges; to share experiences, and learn from one another. Growing this sector brings with it great rewards, growing this sector together ensures everyone will enjoy its success. See you there.
